Yet another successful year ... thanks to you!! :-)

Yes, made it all the way to Austin once again.  This one was tough though - we had a headwind pretty much all day Saturday and for most of Sunday.   I was so worn out from fighting the wind on Saturday that I skipped doing “the Park” for the first time this year and that took about 13 miles off the journey from La Grange to Austin for me - for a total of 167.77 miles (instead of the usual 180 miles).  If there ever was a year to skip the park, this was it!

Kudos to everyone that volunteered or rode, even to those of you that were unable to finish but toughed it out for as long as you possibly could.  You’ll be able to tell the stories about the year the wind showed up for the MS 150 :-)

Finally, a big honking “Thank You!” to all of you that have donated in support of this worthy cause.  You kept us going out there when everything hurt and the the forward progress slowed down to a grind.

Grace & peace,

Deji.

P.S.  Legs felt pretty decent on Monday which was quite surprising considering how much they ached climbing on Sunday.  I may have been slightly dehydrated in the morning though, which combined with alleergy/sinus led to some headache issues but all is well ... after lots of water, gatorade & allergy meds :-)

Thank you for visiting my page for the 2008 MS 150 fundraising bike ride.  Once again, I will be participating on this 180 mile trek from Houston to Austin to help raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

A number of you have called or e-mailed asking if I will be riding this year and in doing so, have reminded me how important this cause is - raising money to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis and also  showing the many people afflicted by this disease that we do care about them.

Please donate online to the MS Society today - http://www.ms150.org/edon.cfm?id=220443 (whatever you can contribute goes a long way).  If you happen to donate by some other means, please indicate the rider name as “Deji Osinulu

Thank you so much for your continued support on this really, really long bike ride :-)

Keep the rubber side down!

Deji.
